Parish Church of Santa Catarina da Fonte Do Bispo

The construction of the church was started during the first half of the 16th century. Initially built in the Manueline style, it was later combined with the Renaissance model following the school of André Pilarte. In the chancel, Manueline forms can be seen in the window frames, the corbels and the multi-ribbed vault. On the outside, there are two cylindrical buttresses crowned by conical spires identical to those of various late-Gothic temples in the Alentejo.
