Houses a vast archaeological collection, including architectural items and various ceramic pieces from the Islamic period

This rich collection from the Islamic period comes from various excavations carried out in different parts of the city.
Among the objects on display is the Vaso de Tavira (red clay vessel from Tavira), the museum’s calling card, and other items such as a chapiter from the Caliphate period, an inkwell, ablution basins and remains from the Islamic wall (12th century), made of Military Rammed Earth.
