Church of Nossa Senhora do Mar

A tribute to the town’s fishing activity

The Church of Nossa Senhora do Mar was inaugurated on 24 April 1994 and has an image inside in honour of Santa Luzia. The architectural design of the chapel’s extension and remodelling, carried out in 2008, was based on the image of a boat, a reference to the town’s fishing activity.
