A house with history and stories to tell, 250 years old and the result of a careful rehabilitation that combines modernity and comfort with tradition and charm.

From a busy life to one of the most charming corners in the Eastern Algarve, Cristina and José Carlos had their own ideas on how to make the most of life, where time is a precious commodity. The proximity of the other hotel, Conversas de Alpendre, where they can watch their grandson Francisco grow up, the charm of Tavira, with its scissor roofs and the beauty of the Ria Formosa, challenged them to recover and decorate an old mansion where they joined art, “charm” and comfort.
