Parish Church of Santo Estevão
The church dates back to the 16th century and was originally a small late-medieval hermitage in the parish of Santiago de Tavira
Inside, it has a single rectangular nave with four side chapels and a chancel communicating with the sacristy on the Epistle side. The main altarpiece dates back to the early part of the 19th century. This neoclassical-style altarpiece is modelled on the altarpiece of the chapel of São Luís de Faro and its execution can be attributed to the Italian architect Francisco Xavier Fabri.
