Cabanas de Tavira Beach

East of Tavira Island lies the Island of Cabanas, on a narrow but long tongue of sand in front of the town.

Along the extensive Cabanas coastline it is possible to see the artisanal fishing boats anchored in the Ria Formosa and the houses with fishing tackle. Praia de Cabanas is one of several beaches in Tavira that offer excellent conditions for nautical activities.
